The “Falls” Tour
Monday, March 30th, 2009
The above shot is of Connestee Falls outside of Brevard NC. This is a little known Falls on the way to the DuPont series of Falls. We saw at least nine Falls in one long day this last Sunday. Very beautiful all of them, I’ll post more or I may run a gallery on the photo page.

The above shot is of a non-working water wheel mill. Non-working as in not making grain, just for looks. It is located in West Limestone and is only one of many scenic venues we saw and shot on a trek with our friends the DuBois yesterday. The trip was to long for my ailing back but the scenery was fantastic. We started out at his brothers where there is a old civil war era train bridge that now supports part of the eleven mile long Rails to Trails which runs from Piney Chapel to Veto. His brothers house sits where an old fort once guarded the trestle. We hit a tunnel, and a old bridge over Sugar Creek. Many nice places to carry clients for a photo-shoot.
