I am Yarg Hardison, owner and artist in residence of Thirdstone Studio in Athens, Alabama. I got my first camera in the early 70’s and set out to learn all that I could about the art of photography. I still remember the awe and thrill of seeing a print come to life in the darkroom. Life got in the way and my passion for photography fell by the way. About  fifteen years ago I discovered another passion; scuba diving. This new hobby renewed my interest in photography,  this time while under water. Recently the desire for the artistry of topside photography returned anew, and while the digital age has been a steep learning curve, it is just as exciting as the days of seeing a print come to life in the darkroom.

I now work full time as a photographer in my Athens, Alabama studio. I specialize in portrait, glamor, boudoir and wedding photography. I also do shoots at any location you choose. If you have a photography need, please feel free to give me a call.
